How to Register on the Website (Web)
Access:
Open your browser and visit the MEXC homepage at www.mexc.com/register
or click Sign Up.
Choose a registration method:
Select Email or Phone Number.
Enter your information:
- Email/Phone Number: Enter your email address or phone number.
- Password: Create a password with at least 8 characters, including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (a stronger password is recommended).
- Referral Code (optional): Enter it if you have one.
Verification:
- Click Get Code to receive a verification code.
- Drag the slider to complete the verification puzzle (captcha).
Complete registration:
Enter the verification code you received, check the box to agree to the Terms and Policies, then click Register.
How to Register on the Mobile App (App)
Download the app:
Download the MEXC app from the App Store or Google Play.
Select Sign Up:
Open the app and choose Sign Up (your first login is considered registration).
Enter information:
Similar to the web process—use your Email/Phone Number, create a password, and complete the verification steps (slider and verification code).
Connect a wallet (optional):
You may choose to connect a crypto wallet (such as MetaMask) directly within the app for faster registration.
After Registration
You can complete Identity Verification (KYC) to increase your withdrawal limits by going to the User icon > KYC Verification, then following the instructions to upload your identification documents.
MEXC Exchange Offers Two Types of KYC
Primary KYC – Basic KYC
This is a quick and simple KYC level that requires only basic personal information. It allows a withdrawal limit of up to 80 BTC per day. At the time of writing, with Bitcoin priced at around 600 million VND, this corresponds to a withdrawal limit of approximately 48 billion VND per day.
In my opinion, this KYC level is more than sufficient for most users. To complete this KYC, you only need to upload images of both sides of your ID card, citizen ID (CCCD), driver’s license, or passport. The process is very fast and convenient.
Advanced KYC
The advanced KYC level is a step up from the basic one, requiring an additional facial recognition scan to verify that your face matches the submitted identification documents.
This level offers a daily withdrawal limit of up to 200 BTC. If you are a very large trader or “crypto whale,” then this KYC level is for you 🙂
KYC Process on MEXC
After registering an MEXC account, you can already use basic features and trade on the MEXC exchange. However, I highly recommend completing at least the Basic KYC or even the Advanced KYC for long-term account security.
KYC helps make your account more secure and protected, allowing the exchange to verify real user information. This is especially useful for future support cases such as transaction issues, account recovery, forgotten passwords, or other potential problems.
